Description
A key model in the Cochise range, specifically designed for a demanding audience but with wider feet.
The Cochise HV 120 is a hybrid boot for men that successfully combines the flawless power of a 4-buckle alpine boot with the versatility and features of a high-performance touring boot. The acronym "HV" (High Volume) indicates that it is intended for skiers with wider feet.
Key Features
| Feature | Spec. | Main Advantage |
| Flex | 120 | Very rigid. Maximum power transmission for expert and aggressive skiers. |
| Last | 102 mm | "High Volume" (HV). Optimal comfort for wide feet without sacrificing precision. |
| Range of Motion | 55° | Generous cuff travel for comfortable and efficient uphill movement. |
| Weight (Approx.) | 1870 g (@ size 26.5/27.5) | Lightweight for a boot of this stiffness and volume. |
| Walk Mech. | T-Ride | Ultra-solid shell-cuff connection, guaranteeing alpine stiffness for downhill skiing. |
| Soles | GripWalk ISO 23223 with Low Tech DYN Inserts | Increased grip for walking and compatibility with most bindings (alpine and tech inserts). |
Technologies and Strengths
High Volume (HV - 102 mm): This is the main characteristic. It meets the needs of powerful skiers with a wider foot who feel constricted in classic models (99 mm).
T-Ride System: This mechanism is at the heart of the hybrid performance. It firmly locks the shell and cuff, eliminating play for precise and fast energy transmission on the descent, then unlocks for walking.

C.A.S. Shell Construction:
Shell: Polyurethane (PU) with co-injected Carbon in the back spine for optimal stiffness and rebound.
C.A.S. Customization: The shell and liner are designed to be easily thermoformed and modified by a bootfitter to achieve an anatomical and precise fit, even for a wide foot.
Quick Instep: Use of softer plastic over the instep to make entry easier, which is highly appreciated on stiff boots.
Asymmetric Power Transmission: An asymmetrical shell design (thicker on the inside) to improve power transmission and edge control.
Liner: Performance C.A.S. with Celliant® technology (fiber that converts body heat into infrared energy to improve circulation and warmth). The liner is lightweight and designed with a floating tongue for touring comfort.
In short, the Cochise HV 120 is the ideal one-boot solution for the wide-footed expert looking for a powerful boot to attack Freeride without being afraid of short skinning approaches.
