1995
The First Customer
Opened in 1995 by Maxime Gagnon, Max Ski Service has never stopped growing and evolving to offer an ever-expanding range of services and products dedicated to mountain sports.
Driven by a love for skiing—specifically the competitive side—Max stood out in several provincial and Canadian competitions. Upon finishing his studies, enriched by his extensive experience, he started his business at the age of 24 with a core focus on alpine ski tuning.
2012
Acquiring the Mercury
Building on the success of his tuning services, Max invested in a next-generation robot to elevate ski maintenance standards even further.
Max Ski Service became the go-to reference for equipment maintenance in the greater Mont-Tremblant region, serving various racing clubs and a clientele hungry for performance and quality.
2021
A New Beginning
The year 2021 marked a turning point in the history of Max Ski Service.
The owner acquired a new commercial building located at 1963 Chemin du Village in Mont-Tremblant and relocated the business there.
Expansion projects finally came to life in this spacious and bright environment, creating one of the most beautiful shops in the region. Over the decades, the small village shop grew under Max’s leadership.
Today, the boutique features a selection of the most prestigious brands in the skiing world. The shop has successfully preserved its authentic soul and the picturesque charm of a human-scale boutique in the heart of the Laurentians.
