Description

Holmenkol Betamix Liquid is one of the most popular benchmarks for ski and snowboard maintenance, as it offers an excellent compromise between performance and simplicity.

Here is what you need to know about this liquid wax:

Main Features

  • Snow temperature range: -4°C to -14°C.

  • Usage: Ideal for cold, fine, or transformed snow.

  • Type: High-quality hydrocarbon (HC) wax in liquid form.

  • Versatility: This is Holmenkol's universal "base," perfect for when you don't know the exact conditions of the day.

Why choose the liquid version?

  1. Time-saving: No need for a waxing iron. It is the ideal solution for quick maintenance between two sessions or while traveling.

  2. High resistance: Unlike many low-end "express" waxes, Betamix Liquid offers excellent abrasion resistance (it stays on the base longer).

  3. Protection: It effectively protects the base against oxidation and whitening.

Application: The method for lasting results

To get long-lasting glide, don't just spray and go. Follow these steps:

  • Cleaning: Brush your base with a copper or nylon brush to remove dust.

  • Application: Apply the liquid evenly across the entire base.

  • Drying (Crucial): Let it dry for at least 15 to 30 minutes at room temperature. This is the time needed for the solvents to evaporate and the wax to harden.

  • Finishing: Polish with a felt pad (often provided on the side of the bottle) or a blue nylon brush to shine and maximize glide.
