Meaning of “MIPS”
MIPS stands for Multi‐Directional Impact Protection System. It is a technology that adds a mobile inner layer to reduce the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during an oblique impact.

Size chart – Giro Ratio MIPS
Giro uses a grid of fairly simple sizes based on the head circumference. Just measure around the head, just above the eyebrows.

XL: 62.5 – 65 cm
The Giro Ratio MIPS usually exists in S, M and L.
- If you are between two sizes, Giro often recommends taking the largest.
- The helmet should be well fitted, without pressure points.
- When you shake your head, he must not move.
- The adjustment wheel helps to refine the fit.
