Description

The HEAD/Tyrolia Freeflex 16 binding is the most powerful and demanding version of the non-FIS Freeflex range, situated just below the models used in the World Cup.

It is designed for the heaviest, fastest, and most aggressive skiers.

Features

Characteristic Specification/Description
DIN Range 5.0 to 16.0. This is an extremely high range, intended for absolute expert skiers, competitors, instructors, and very large or very aggressive skiers. It ensures maximum retention in all conditions.
Freeflex Technology The flagship technology. The heel piece is designed to be semi-floating, allowing the ski to flex naturally under the boot. This maintains permanent edge contact with the snow for optimal power transmission and control.
Toe Piece Race Pro/Race Diagonal. This is a very robust toe piece, optimized for perfect boot centering and reliable release under extreme stresses.
Materials Extremely durable and rigid construction, often with more metal to withstand competition forces.

Target Audience

  • Competition Skiers: Often used for non-FIS races (Slalom, Giant, Super G) for juniors or masters.

  • Very Aggressive Experts: For those who ski at full speed without restraint and who need maximum security against unintended release.
