Built from Tecnica's philosophy that emphasizes fit and performance, the Zero G Peak Carbon is constructed to be extremely light and efficient on the climb, while retaining the downhill power and performance you know and expect from Tecnica.
Adapted from our experience in the alpine world, the Zero G Peak Carbon uses a wrap-around shell design, allowing the boot to better wrap the foot, which not only increases comfort but significantly improves downhill performance.
In addition, the C.A.S shell and C.A.S Light liner offer a better anatomical fit right out of the box and allow for light customization in the form of punching or grinding, which, until now, was unheard of in this area.
A bidirectional carbon fiber plate under the foot reinforces torsional stability, allowing better lateral power transmission.
Furthermore, the carbon fiber cuff offers unmatched strength and stiffness for a touring boot, and the T-Hike mechanism, an efficient lever arm, allows for maximum stride with a 75-degree range of motion.
