Description
The Blizzard Sheeva 10 is one of the most popular and acclaimed Women's Freeride/All-Mountain skis of the last decade. It is famous for its perfect balance between playfulness and power.
1. Key Features
| Feature | Specification | Role |
| Category | Freeride / All-Mountain | Designed to excel in powder and crud as much as on groomed slopes. |
| Waist | 102 mm (approx.) | This width is the perfect sweet spot for a "unique" ski (a one-ski quiver). It offers excellent flotation in fresh snow while remaining lively and manageable on hard snow. |
| Target Audience | Confirmed to expert female skiers (who ski fast, everywhere, and are not afraid). | |
| Profile | Rocker - Camber - Rocker | Camber underfoot guarantees grip and pop (rebound) on the piste, while the raised tips and tails (rocker) facilitate floating in powder and maneuverability. |
| Turning Radius | Approximately 16.5 m (for 174 cm size) | A moderate radius that allows for stable medium to long turns, while remaining agile for short turns in moguls or tree runs. |
2. Unique Technologies (Women's Specific Design)
The Sheeva 10 benefits from technologies specifically developed by Blizzard's Women2Women team:
-
W.S.D. (Women's Specific Design) TrueBlend Free Woodcore:
The wood core is strategically composed of different densities (Beech, Poplar, and Paulownia). This allows for a progressive flex: stiff underfoot for power and softer at the ends for playfulness and maneuverability.
-
W.S.D. FluxForm Technology:
This is the female version of the Titanal chassis found in the Rustler range (the men's version).
This technology uses Titanal inserts on each side of the ski (or layers of metal) that are tapered towards the tip and tail. This provides great stability at high speed and dampens vibrations, without adding weight to the ski's ends. The result is a construction that charges hard in variable conditions (heavy snow, crud) but remains light and agile in rotation.
3. In Summary
The Sheeva 10 is the ideal choice for the powerful and versatile female skier looking for a ski capable of:
Carving precisely on groomed slopes (thanks to the camber and Titanal).
Floating and being playful in powder (thanks to the 102 mm waist and rocker).
Ripping through crud and variable snow (thanks to its stability and dampening construction).
It is a true Swiss Army knife for female skiers who make the mountain their playground.
