Description
The Trooper 2Vi SL Mips helmet is the ultimate slalom helmet. More robust, lighter, and overall superior to its predecessor, it represents a true turning point in mountain racing equipment. A key advantage of this model is that it comes standard with a removable, powder-coated steel slalom chin guard, ready to use. This advanced version incorporates revolutionary 2Vi® technology, a high-performance platform developed by Sweet Protection that ensures perfect synergy between the shell, the shock-absorbing liner, and the Mips system, thus setting a new standard for performance and comfort in the ski industry.
Key Features
This 700g helmet (CE EN1077 Class B and ASTM2040 certified) features a modern, single-shell construction made of thermoplastic laminated carbon fiber (TLC), whose variable thickness perfectly balances rigidity and elasticity. It incorporates the dual-layer Mips® safety system to drastically reduce rotational forces upon impact. Comfort is maximized by fully adjustable ventilation, a highly comfortable removable liner, and detachable ear pads. Seamless integration with your goggles is ensured thanks to a precise fit, an anti-fog ventilated internal space, and an easy-to-use retention hook. Finally, it features a Fidlock magnetic buckle and is compatible with headphones (sold separately).
Instructions for Use and Tips
Place the helmet on your head and turn the Occigrip system dial located at the rear. You can adjust the circumference and height for a personalized and ultra-secure fit.
For training and competitions between gates, install the included powder-coated steel chin bar. You can easily remove it when you want to freeride.
Fasten and detach the chin strap with one hand, even while wearing ski gloves, thanks to the intuitive and secure Fidlock magnetic buckle.
