Description
The Grip Walk system is a standardized sole/binding interface that improves safety, grip, and walking comfort without compromising alpine performance.
Features
| Feature | Detailed Description |
| Walking Comfort | The main feature is the convex (rounded) shape of the sole. Unlike flat alpine soles (ISO 5355), the rounded shape allows for a more natural foot roll (rocking motion), simulating a normal walking gait. |
| Improved Grip | The soles are made of a non-slip compound (often Vibram rubber for Cochise DYN models) and feature a marked ribbed profile. This offers excellent traction and better safety on slippery surfaces (snow, ice, hard floors, metal). |
| Heel & Toe Interface | The kit consists of a heel pad and a toe pad, which can be replaced separately. They are secured with screws. |
| Safety (ISO Standard) | Grip Walk soles comply with the standard ISO 23223:2021 (Alpine ski boots with improved walking soles). They are designed to function reliably with GW compatible bindings. |
