Description

Role and Objective

The main purpose of installing these soles is to improve the walking comfort of your boots and broaden their compatibility with modern bindings.

  • More Natural Walk: The GripWalk (GW) profile is rounded (rocker) at the heel and toe, allowing your foot to roll naturally, making walking easier in the parking lot or at the resort.

  • Grip: The soles are made of grippy rubber to reduce the risk of slipping on ice or snow (unlike rigid plastic alpine soles).

Boot Compatibility

These soles are specifically adapted for the following Tecnica ski boot ranges:

  • Mach1: High-performance models (e.g., Mach1 LV 130, Mach1 MV 105 W, etc.).

  • Mach Sport: Comfort and leisure-oriented models (e.g., Mach Sport HV 100, Mach Sport MV 75 W, etc.).

Warning: It is crucial to ensure you purchase the correct size sole (corresponding to the Mondo size of your boot) to guarantee perfect fit and safety.

Binding Compatibility

To use these soles safely in ski mode, you must have bindings that accept the GripWalk standard.

  • Compatible Bindings: They must bear the logo or designation "GW", "GripWalk", or "MNC" (Multi Norm Certified) or "WTR" (Walk To Ride).

  • Non-Compatible Bindings: Older classic alpine bindings (non-GW) are not compatible. Using a GripWalk sole in a standard alpine binding can compromise release and safety.

In summary: These soles are an easy upgrade for Mach1 or Mach Sport owners looking to improve their walking comfort and ensure maximum compatibility with modern bindings.
