Description
The Scout model is designed for the advanced ski tourer who spends a lot of time climbing but demands a boot powerful enough to attack the descent in variable snow conditions.
Typical Technical Specifications
| Feature | Typical Value | Note / Advantage |
| Flex | 120 (A stiff flex) | Offers excellent power and precise control for aggressive skiing and wider skis. |
| Weight (per boot) | approx 1 3 6 0 g (for a size 26.5) | Very light for a 4-buckle, Flex 120 boot. |
| Metatarsal Width (Last) | 99 mm | A precise width that ensures optimal foot support. |
| Range of Motion (ROM) | approx 55 to 60 | A large range of motion for a long and efficient walk. |
| Sole | Vibram with Low Tech inserts (pins) | Ensures compatibility with all touring bindings (pins) and excellent grip on slippery terrain. |
| Materials | Shell in PU (polyurethane) or Grilamid, often with reinforcements, for a good stiffness/weight ratio. |
Positioning in the Zero G Range
Lighter and more forgiving than the Zero G Tour Pro (Flex 130).
Stiffer and better performing on the descent than the base Zero G Tour (Flex 105/110).
It is the ideal boot for the majority of advanced to expert ski tourers who are not very large but do not want to compromise on lateral stiffness and downhill power.
