Description

The Tyrolia Attack 14 GW is one of the most popular bindings for modern skiing, particularly among freeride and freestyle enthusiasts.

It is the most common and best-selling version of the Attack series.

The difference between Attack 14 GW and MN

The essential difference lies in boot sole compatibility:

Feature Detail
DIN Range 4.0 – 14.0. Designed for advanced to expert skiers who need good retention and reliable safety during aggressive practice.
Binding Type All-Mountain / Freeride / Freestyle (Very commonly used in the Park and off-piste).
Compatibility (GW)

The "GW" stands for GripWalk. It is compatible with:

* Traditional Alpine boots (ISO 5355).

* GripWalk boots (ISO 23223).

Toe Piece FR PRO 3. Robust, it features easy height adjustment (AFD) to adapt to different soles (Alpine or GripWalk).
Stand Height Very low (17 mm) for a better snow feel, a more direct connection with the ski, and better control.
Model Meaning Boot Compatibility
Attack 14 GW GripWalk Traditional Alpine AND GripWalk.
Attack 14 MN Multi-Norm Traditional Alpine, GripWalk AND Touring Soles (ISO 9523).

In summary

  • If you only ski with Alpine or GripWalk boots, the Attack 14 GW is ideal and often lighter/simpler than the MN.

  • If you own touring ski boots with the ISO 9523 standard, you need the MN (Multi-Norm) version.
