The MV 130 takes all the excellent features of the MV 120 and pushes them to a superior level of stiffness for uncompromising performance.
1. Flex 130: Maximum Stiffness
The 130 flex is designed for skiers who exert maximum force on the boot tongue. It offers:
Immediate Response: Energy transfer from foot to ski is instantaneous and direct.
Superior Control: Maintains surgical precision at high speed and in difficult snow conditions (ice, heavy snow).
Progressiveness: Thanks to the combination of shell materials and T-Drive, the flex remains progressive, allowing excellent control from the initiation of the turn, without the sensation of a too brutal "wall".
2. T-Drive Lever (Technology Drive)
This is a key element of the recent 120 and 130 models:
It is a carbon fiber or metal connector that rigidly links the cuff to the shell.
It guarantees a more constant flex regardless of temperature, and above all, prevents lateral (biased) plastic deformation, maximizing power transmission for fast and precise edge changes.
3. C.A.S. Adjustment and Customization (Custom Adaptive Shape)
Fit is the number one priority, even in this performance-focused boot:
C.A.S. Shell: The anatomical shape of 100 mm offers an excellent initial fit for medium volume. The dimples on the shell facilitate the bootfitter's work to stretch or grind the plastic if necessary.
Full C.A.S. Liner: The liner is fully thermoformable and customizable (ankle, heel, adjustable tongue), allowing for an ultra-precise and durable fit.
Heel Hold: The liner design ensures excellent heel and instep hold, crucial for precision.
4. Comfort and Ease of Use
Quick Instep: Softer plastic insert at the instep to facilitate entry, despite the stiffness of the shell.
Celliant® Insulation: Material in the liner that helps keep feet warm by using body heat.
GripWalk Sole: Offers better grip and facilitates walking, while being compatible with GripWalk bindings.
The Tecnica Mach1 MV 130 is the benchmark model for very experienced skiers with a medium-width foot (100 mm) who seek the power and precision of a race boot, but with a level of comfort and customization that makes it usable all day on all terrains.
This is a boot that demands to be "skied" and not just worn, delivering addictive energy to those who know how to use it.
