The Salomon RC7+ eSKIN (Med), combined with the Prolink Shift binding, is a high-performance classic cross-country ski package, ideal for intermediate skiers or athletes looking for a smooth glide without the constraints of restraint waxing.

Key technologies

eSKINGRIP+: This 100% mohair insert offers an excellent compromise between grip and glide. Unlike flake skis, it's much quieter and more efficient, especially on compact or icy snow.

Densolite 2000 core: A lightweight, torsionally rigid core (preformed Densolite foam wrapped in bi-directional fiberglass). This gives the ski stable, predictable behavior.

G3 sole: A performance sole with a stone finish (World Cup Grinding) that improves speed in a wide variety of snow conditions.

S-Cut (S-shaped rib line): The ski is slightly wider underfoot to promote control and stability, especially when going off-track or downhill.
The Prolink Shift system
The Prolink Shift binding is the highlight of this pack. It lets you adjust the ski's behavior according to the conditions of the day or your state of fatigue:

Size Guide (Flex Medium)
For skin skis, weight is the number 1 selection criterion. If the ski is too soft, the skin will rub when sliding; if it's too rigid, you won't get any grip.

Fast maintenance
Even if there's no need for push waxing, a minimum of maintenance will prolong the life of your skis:

Skin cleaning: Use a specific skin cleaner (without aggressive solvents) to remove wax residues from other skiers or dirt.

Anti-icing: Apply an anti-icing product to the skin to prevent the snow from kicking up in milder weather.

Glide waxing: Glide zones (front and back) should be regularly waxed with liquid or hot wax.
